Linking SOQs to Projects

Linking SOQs (Schedules of Quantities) to projects in 14Build ensures accurate project management, tender generation, and payment tracking. Every project task, cost, and milestone is tied to a linked SOQ, enabling on-chain traceability.


  1. Accurate Cost Control:

    • All tasks, materials, and labor are predefined in the SOQ.
  2. Tender Preparation:

    • SOQs automatically populate tenders, ensuring contractors bid on exact specifications.
  3. Bid Evaluation:

    • Bids are evaluated against predefined job costs and quantities.
  4. Payment Security:

    • Payments are based on milestone completion tied to SOQ tasks.



Step 1: Create or Select a Project

  • Go to Project Dashboard.
  • Select a Project or click “Create New Project”.

Step 2: Access the SOQ Management Panel

  • Click “SOQ Management” in the project menu.

  1. Choose an Option:

    • Link Existing SOQ: Attach a previously created SOQ.
    • Create New SOQ: Build a new SOQ from scratch.
  2. Select the SOQ:

    • Choose the relevant SOQ and click “Link to Project”.

Step 4: Review the SOQ Details

  • Review linked jobs, categories, unit costs, and total project costs.

  • Click “Confirm” to link the SOQ permanently.
